555 - A real left over from the late eighties when any and everyone with a camcorder could get a movie into the video stores. this one has a some hippie cutting up women after they get naked. (B)

THE ABOMINATION – Ultras gory creature feature from the days of straight to tape mayhem. A woman barfs up a tumor that grows into an all teeth, gut eating monstrosity. Gorier than the law usually allows! (B)

ANOTHER SON OF SAM (1978) - While the case was barely cold this ultra cheap production rolled, without the case being solved yet. The odd thing is that this movie wavers from wild over the top sensationalism to dry as burnt toast artistic pretensions, sometimes within the same scenes. Some call it an unwatchable mess, I call it fascinating and sick! (D-)

AUTOPSY – U.S. – Very unusual anti-war mondo effort from the seventies. The story is about a combat photographer that can’t face up to death. He explores America trying to get a grip on the phenomenon until he decides to witness a real autopsy. All the documentary footage (Including the autopsy) is real and woven into a narrative story. BAD RONALD (1974) - Made for TV movie about a dorky teen who kills a kid. To hide from the fuzz his insane mother makes him live in a secret room behind the kitchen. Eventually she dies, leaving him living there inside his own fantasy world. When a new family with three teen daughters move in things start getting really weird. Very hard to find. (B+)

BACKWOODS – Your usual inbred hillbillies on the loose chowing down on some foolish kids. (B+)

*BEAUTIFUL TEACHER IN TORTURE HELL (198?)- (NO ENGLISH) - Yet another of those well made, intense and totally politically wrong Nikatsu pink films that are sure to entrance you, yet make you feel real dirty for watching. Plot? Well a beautiful teacher is kidnapped and made to perform various sexual scenarios for her captors in a "torture hell". What the hell else did you think it was about? (B+)

BEHEADED 1000 - Joey Wang of CHINESE GHOST STORY stars in this Hong Kong Horror. Ltbx, Subs! (A-)

*BLACK MAGIC 2 – AKA REVENGE OF THE ZOMBIES, UNCUT DUBBED CHINA– Ho Menga’s outlandish Chinese Voodoo gore classic! Nine-inch nails driven into heads, worms under the skin, vampires that live off of human milk and mutated fetuses galore. Reminds one of how inspired horror movies without boundaries can be.( C+)

THE BLACK ROOM – U.S. – Early eighties vampire tale that present vampirism as a form of Anemia. A swinging vampire couple rent their opulent hotel room out to swingers and drain the fuckers, literally. Watch for a quick early role by Linnea Quigley. (B+)

BLOOD DELIRIUM – UNCUT ITALY– Little seen Italian gem. A painter goes mad at the sudden death of his wife and proceeds to kill people to complete his paintings. Much like H.G. Lewis’ COLOR ME BLOOD RED but much more serious and well made. (C)

BLOODY FRAGMENTS ON WHITE WALLS – S.O.V. LTBX! SUBTITLED JAPAN – Short (65Min.) acid horrors. A girl in a mysterious hospital hallucinates various grotesqueries, such as her guts sloshing out. A surprise ending explains it all. Quite harrowing and disturbing, and very well made despite being shot on video. Written by the director of EVIL DEAD TRAP 2. (B)

BLOOD SONG - Frankie Avalon plays an ax wielding psychopath! Yes you read that right Frankie Avalon! Used to be a favorite on the old COMMANDER USA show (B+)

*BLOOD SABBATH (1973) - Rather silly (but full of nudity) adult fairy tale about a Vietnam soldier who ends up lost in the woods. He meets a beautiful blonde witch and falls in love. Unfortunately he has to contend with her nemesis played by ILSA herself DYANNE THORNE (appropriately named Alotta!). Some bloodshed and lots of naked bouncing breasts. A real oddity. (B)

BLOODY TRAIL - I have no clue what this. I still need to watch it! (B+)

*BORN OF FIRE (1986) - Extravagant head movie that resembles El Topo in its surrealistic weirdness. Recommended! (B+)

CALAMITY OF SNAKES - LTBX, NO ENGLISH - Whacked out Indonesian snake puking, supernatural oddity is sure to leave you slack jawed with envy that you didn't make the damn thing! (A)

CARNAGE – Milligan strikes again! Andy Milligan brings his own style (ineptitude) to the haunted house genre with amusing results. What else can I say, you either like his stuff or you don’t! (A-)

THE CARRIER - Very unusual AIDS allegory gore film from the eighties. (A-)

*CASSANDRA – Haunted house shenanigans with the ghost of a little murdered girl. (B+)

CENTIPEDE HORROR - LTBX, SUBTITLED - UPGRADE! - Cool as hell bug puking horror flick from the land of great food. This Hong Kong horror is one of the rightfully loved "crazy Asians swallow large bugs and vomit them up" school of horror! Great Quality too! (A)

CHINESE GHOST BUSTER – SUBTITLED & LTBX CHINA – WU MA is back as yet another swordsman Taoist priest battling ghosts and ghouls in the CHINESE GHOST STORY rip off. Not as good as its inspirations, but certainly not without charm. (A-)

THE CLOWN MURDERS (1976) - Yet another regional 70’s drive-in quickie about a killer wiping out clowns. Distinguished by good pacing, a couple of solid scares and the movie debut of John Candy (RIP). Over all lots of fun (B)

*CODE OF THE HUNT – AKA COTA DE COZA SPAIN– Jorg Grau film about a home invasion situation that haunts for years. This is one of the most disturbing films of its type approach with caution. (B-)

COLD EYES OF FEAR - Ltbx, Uncut home invasion from Italy (A+)

*CONFESSIONS OF A SERIAL KILLER – Bob Burns (R.I.P. Art director onTEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE0 stars as a serial killer modeled after Henry Lee Lucas. In detail this is much closer to Henry’s rampage than the movie that bears his name. This one is a grim, unflinching look into his life and methods. Thoroughly disturbing, though obviously made for peanuts. (A-)

COTON/ BIOTHERAPY – NO ENGLISH – Extreme over the top Japanese sci-fi gore with monsters and lots of transformations! I have no idea what the hell its about, but man, they are both gory! (B)

CURSE - LTBX, SUBTITLED - More of the same sort of mondo mayhem as CENTIPEDE HORROR. (A)

*DAUGHTER OF DARKNESS – LTBX, SUBTITLED, HONG KONG – Very disturbing sex, murder and mayhem comedy (you read that right!) about a young woman who’s whole family has been brutally slaughtered and the wacky investigation that follows. The last twenty minutes turn into a horror bloodbath that will fuck you up for weeks! Click HERE for a review of this movie. (B+)

DAUGHTER OF HORROR – B/W – 1950’s underground classic tale of a woman going mad. Surreal in the best way and with narration by ED McMahon! (A)

*DAY WITHOUT POLICEMEN – SUBTITLED & LTBX CHINA– Boy this is one sick fucking movie! Simon Yam stars as a cop with a crisis. How pukes his guts out whenever he sees a machine gun. There is also a paramilitary unit sweeping through his village and a rape and murder spree. No a horror movie by design, but definitely one in execution as every violent scene goes so far over the line that you won’t believe it. Mastered directly from laser disc. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
You better believe you gotta be 21 to order! (A-)

DEADLINE - Funkadelic horror mind bender about a novelist whose horrific prose begins to come true. Includes the often-talked about dismemberment by farm machinery. A whole lot of surprises, a true sleeper. (A)

*DEAR DEAD DELILAH – Drive-in quickie with Angnus Moorehead as a old woman who refuses to die and leave her shitty family the inherited riches. She sets them all on a scavenger hunt on the estate for the bucks and everyone starts dying, gorily! Great 70’s fun! (A-)

*DEATH POWDER – SUBTITLED, JAPAN – Dense, confusion cyber thriller takes no pains to make the audience understand. Instead it forges ahead with its own logic and imagery and lets you pick up as you go along. At times fascinating and oblique this short (just over an hour) entry is worth a look for fans of the surreal. (B)

*DEMENTED – Regional horror quickie notable for the acting appearance by underground legend Jim VanBebber as a south of the border Satanist on the run. Otherwise this is a standard slasher fare, with Michele Bauer and her boobs. But you gotta love that! (B+)

*DEMON RAGE AKA SATAN'S MISTRESS- Possessed housewife with the largest nipples in horror history! (B)

THE DEMONS - Uncut, UPGRADE!- Jess Franco's Nuns-go-nuts sexploiter has a randy demon boinking Nuns who are "just asking for love". One of the crazy old man's better outings if you ask me. But you didn't, so buy it for yourself! (B-)

*DEMONOID – Possessed hand horror from the early eighties. I’m sure there are millions of us that have fond memories seeing this on Commander USA’s Groovy movies! Goofy fun! (A-)

THE DEVIL (1986) - In English!- Truly insane Chinese bug barfing, black magic horror extravaganza. See these loons stuff REAL worms, maggots snakes etc. into their mouths and puke them up while having epileptic fits brought on by Black Magic! Great stuff! (B)

*DEVIL STORY – Really weird Italian gore film about a mutant helping his psycho mother resurrect a bloodthirsty Mummy. Very splatterific. (C)

THE DEVIL’S – UNCUT, LTBX – The Most Complete print of Ken Russell’s best film from British broadcast. (B+)

*DEVIL'S HONEY - Lucio Fulci's erotic thriller that was edited to shit in the USA. Here it is uncut! (B+)

DIAL D FOR DEMONS - LTBX, SUBTITLED - RED TO KILL director Billy Tang lightens up a bit for this monster/horror/comedy that hits all the right notes. Check it out! (A)

*THE DIVINE ENFORCER - Oh YEAH! Now this is great trash baby! Get ready for this bad acting banquet of cult stars and forgotten TV has-beens in the most outrageous storyline in years! This is about a renegade Priest who is killing the bad people he hears about in confession! He kills them with Kung Fu and crucifix throwing knives! Some forgettable Kung Fu guy plays the lead character, but it is the supporting cast that will knock your socks off! Eric Estrada and Jan Michael Vincent are the assistant priests! Judy Landers is their sexy housekeeper in a tight Skirt! Robert Z'Dar and Jim Brown are local drug dealers/gangsters that must be stopped! And best of all DON STROUD is the main bad guy, a serial killer based on Richard Chase, that is draining the blood from topless babes and boiling their skulls for his collection! the only element missing is Tony Danza in a monkey suit! You cannot live without this ultra bad movie! It will complete your movie collection the way a good woman completes your life! (B+)

*DR. BLACK AND MR. HYDE – Mr. Hyde takes no jive, if you get on his bad side you won’t be alive! Absolute classic blaxsploitation monster mash with good effects by Stan Winston. Bernie Casey is the doctor who turns into a monster WHITE MAN Mr. Hyde. Truly great stuff and one of my personal faves! (A)

*DR. JECKLE & HIS WOMEN – AKA BLOODLUST AKA DR. JECKYL AND MS. OSBORNE – LTBX, SUBTITLED, FOGGED, FRANCE – Walarian Borozyk’s amazing film breaks all the rules and redefines this classic tale. Hyde is a superhuman with a foot long pointed phallus and willing to put it to work on either sex. With Udo Kier as Jeckyl (but not Hyde.) A masterpiece. THis version is cut but is the the longest version in existence.You have to be 21 to order! (C)

*DR. LAMB – LTBX, SUBTITLED CHINA, UNCUT COMPOSITE PRINT– Intense, brutal, ugly serial killer tale starring Simon Yam as sicko necrophile with a penchant for "dirty" girls. He also likes to hide body parts all over his house and take pictures of his exploits. If HENRY was directed by a sleazy Hong Kong director it would look like this. Pretty amazing all in all. Better be 21 to order. (B)

DRIVE IN MASSACRE - Late Seventies Slasher is surprisingly meanspirited and has some shocking moments of blood spurting gore. The early decapitation is a highlight. Is the killer the psycho owner of the Drive in, the pissed off projectionist, or the retarded but lovable Clean up guy? Does it matter? Includes trailer! (B+)

*EBOLA SYNDROME – UNCUT, SUBTITLED, LTBX HONG KONG– Man is there something wrong with Anthony Wong or what? This is probably the sickest movie he’s been in and that is saying a lot! A sexual Psychopath rapes a woman with the Ebola Virus and unwittingly spreads it across China on a rape spree. The starts killing people and putting their infected flesh into meat products and feeding it to the public! SICK, SICK, SICK! Recently upgraded! (A+)

ELVES (1997) - Incredibly silly holiday horror about evil elves trying to inpregnate some chick and Nazi experiments going bad. Totally insane American trash has been overlooked for far too long! (A-)

*ETERNAL EVIL OF ASIA – LTBX, SUBTITLED – Over the top category 3 demons, gore and sex mayhem. A classic of its type. (B+)

*ETOILE – LTBX ITALY– Jennifer Connelly (whom I've had a mad crush on since I was 14 years old!) stars in this tame but entertaining Italian ghost story directed by Peter Delmonte. More atmosphere than anything else but worth your time nonetheless, especially if you’re a fan of the divine young star. (A)

*EVIL DEAD TRAP 3: A MUTILATION FOR A TENDER LOVE- SUBTITLED, LTBX, JAPAN – Not as good as the first two but a fine film all the same. More of an Argento styled murder mystery than the first two supernatural happenings. Many limbless torsos and sexual couplings take you through this complex and challenging thriller. (A-)

EYES OF FIRE – Bizarre civil war era horror film about southern witches. Gothic and surreal, with scenes such as a rainstorm of skulls. Kind of a quite horror film, but haunting just the same. (A-)

*GALAXY OF TERROR -(Recently UPGRADED!) James Cameron probably doesn’t put this on his resume anymore (he art directed). Sort of an ALIEN rip off with huge helpings of the haunted house genre thrown in. Major gore highlights this fun film. With Robert England and Erin Morhan (Joannie from Happy Days gets fucked by a giant Maggot!). The Recent EVENT HORIZON ripped this off almost directly! (A)

GERMAN CHAINSAW MASSACRE – SUBTITLES LTBX GERMANY - Nasty and bizarre neo-political bloodbath. The movie is really just about the fears in the aftermath of the falling of the Berlin wall. But spiced up with Knife blade enemas, chainsaw dismemberment, and mucho bloodshed. Not so much a good movie as a psychotic one. With Udo Kier as on of the cannibal family who sets his own head on fire and chops off his hand. Weird. Kinda crappy print too. (D)

GHOSTLY VIXEN - Subtitled, Ltbx - Rare Hong Kong action, comedy, fantasy about a Succubus (Played by super busty Amy Yip) who must suck the life force from 100 Virgin Males to become immortal. Pretty silly sex comedy has lots of cleavage, boob jokes and did I mention AMY YIP! (B)

*GOKE! BODYSNATCHER FROM HELL - LTBX, UPGRADE - Good quality letterboxed version of this great Japanese monster mash. See slimy white ooze crawl in the foreheads of unlucky survivors of a plane crash! A classic of Japanese monster mayhem! (B+)

*GUTS OF A VIRGIN 3: RUSTED BODY – AKA FEMALE INQUISITOR , SUBTITLED, LTBX – Incredible sex film from GAIRA the master of dark erotica in Japan. This episode focuses on a group of thieves who sexually entice and torture their captives into giving up the money. The ringleader is a lovely huge breasted womanwho is the sexiest export I have yet to see from Japan! Perfect quality print to boot! Much more fun the first two entries in the series. HALLOWEEN 6: PRODUCER'S CUT - Much longer and different version of the much maligned (and deservedly so) HALLOWEEN sequel. Not half bad, I suppose. (B-)

HAUNTED COP SHOP – SUBTITLED – An early entry into the demon fighting sub genre of the Hong Kong Horror film. Possibly the only film were someone is saved by pissing! (B+)

*HOLY VIRGIN VS. THE EVIL DEAD - SUBTITLED, LTBX, UNUCT CHINA - Absolutely insane Indonesian/Chinese horror fantasy. Far to complicated to capsulate. Overflowing with possessions, violence, nude babes and witchcraft. (A)

*HORRIBLE HIGH HEELS –(RECENTLY UPGRADED)LTBX, SUBTITLED, HONG KONG – Really vile tale of a group of criminals using human hides to make designer shoes! Category 3 at is nastiest! (A-)

*HUMAN PORK CHOP – SUBTITLED, LTBX, HONG KONG – Very sick true to life tale of a group of meth addicted scum who kidnap a prostitute holding her captive for months, torturing her in the most brutal and ugly was. Eventually she dies and they eat her! Very brutal and for the most jaded! (A+)

*HUNTER’S BLOOD (1987) - Kim Delany stars as a young lass that ends up the object of desire for a local clan of inbred hillbillies looking for some loving and killing but maybe not in that order! There is some nice suspense and bloodshed in this tense DELIVERANCE like thriller. For the Hillbilly terrorist completists. (A-)

*I DISMEMBER MAMA - Much dissed slasher from the late seventies actually has a pretty sick streak that keeps it afloat and running. Ultra sick and with a solid lead performance, this one is a keeper. Great title too! (A-)

*IMPULSE (1975) - How can you not LOVE William Shatner? In this William Grefe' production he play's a Mommy obsessed psychopath, wearing obnoxious leisure suits that had to be loud even in 1975. He is trying to weasel his way into the life of a recent widower whose little daughter knows what's up with Capt. Kirk's killing tirades. Look for Oddjob from GOLDFINGER in a cameo. The open credits alone in this are so hysterical its worth the cash! (A-)

*INSANITY - SUBTITLED HONG KONG- Simon "laughing boy" Yam stars as the psycho who is convinced this lone, pregnant woman is his long dead wife. The majority of the movie is the invading of her home and tormenting her, while killing everyone whom gets in the way. Try it on a double bill with HOUSE BY THE EDGE OF THE PARK! (B+)

*INVITATION TO HELL - British Horror/devil worshipping movie that features some pretty need creature effects a loads of gore! The finale crucifixion is a highlight! very short. (B)

THE ISLE - Ltbx, Subtitled - Incredible Korean thriller that is very disturbing. Very similar in tone to AUDITION. A man on the run rents a floating shack on a fishing lake run by a mute woman who has some real intimacy issues. The scenes involving swallowing and masturbating with fishhooks will make even the most jaded give up! A very fine film! (A-)

*IT! Roddy Mcdowell stars in the sixties monster mash about a pointy headed Golem. (B-)

*IT CAME - Really weird little horror/gore flick from the late eighties direct to video boom. A porno editing place called Throbbing Video accidentally taps into an alien lifeforce through the phone lines. The force possesses the employees causing them to go all Jack Nicholson on people's asses! Lots of power drill carnage, spurting blood, violence, bad acting and in jokes. Try it, you may like it. I kinda did! (B+)

JOYS OF TORTURE 2: OXEN SPLIT TORTURING (LTBX, SUBS) - Sequel in name only to the infamous and nasty JOYS OF TORTURE in which all manner of historical torture and executions are matted out to those who were unwitting enough to get caught. Filled with over the top gore and violence that is simply unrivaled in any western cinema including people drawn and quarted, chopped in half and oodles of sexual violence. This is a non stop barrage of brutality and supposedly a pretty accurate look at the budo era of Japan. Pretty scary shit indeed. (B+)

*THE KEEP - LTBX - Michael Mann’s much underrated supernatural thriller is here for the first time on tape letterboxed. Get and reassess it. I think you’ll be surprised how good it actually is. (A+)

*THE KILLING OF SATAN – INDONESIA- Peter Tombs recent book MONDO MACABRO (if you haven’t read it, stop now and go buy it) praises this Indonesian oddity to the heavens. A very unique and effective tale of devil worship and reincarnation of the beast. Steeped in local legend and lore this is an amazing and offbeat movie. Click HERE for a review of this movie. (A-)

*LAS VEGAS BLOODBATH – Shot on video gore movie about a nutjob slaughtering strippers. Original huh? Includes the nasty fetus ripping scene and load so other nastiness. For such a low budget the effects are surprisingly good.

THE LAST FRANKENSTEIN - SUBTITLED, LTBX, JAPAN - Absolutely stunning modern rethinking of the Frankenstein mythos. As if the Cohen Brother’s made a Japanese horror film is the only way to describe this. Many consider this to be among the best Japanese horror films ever. (B)

LEGEND OF BLOOD CASTLE – English language print of Gorge Grau’s take on the Elizabeth Bathory legend. Atmospheric and pretty good. (C+)

*LEGEND OF SPIDER FORREST - Hell, I haven’t watched it yet! It looks pretty creepy though. (B)

THE LION THE LEOPARD AND THE WOLF - AKA BLOODLUST, S.O.V. AUSTRAILIA - Pretty fucking bad Australian Vampire action film. Lots of blood but the bad acting and schizo tone crash it at every turn. Though the soundtrack with Revolting Cocks and 1000 Homo DJ’s is good. Oh yeah the blond vampire has great breasts. (A)

*LUNCHMEAT (1988) - Full on gorefest from the late eighties is best remembered for the outrageous boxart of a fat, balding redneck eating a severed arm. Oddly enough the movie ain't half bad either! If you like mutant, cannibal redneck backwoods buffoonery! And hell who doesn't! (B+)

*MACUMBA LOVE - June Wilkenson stars in this 60's Voodoo movie with her very brief nude scene intact. (B-)

*MANSON MASSACRE (1972) - NO ENGLISH - The rarest of the Manson inspired flicks is ultra sleazy and loose with the facts. Our print has no English but is in really good quality! (A-)

MARK OF THE DEVIL 2 - UNCUT SPAIN - Even more disturbing and sick sequel to the cult smash original. This one more than earns it’s "V" for violence rating. (C)

*MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH – Mid-seventies teen angst that definitely influenced the creators of HEATHERS. A kid is crippled in a prank gone wrong and takes to setting the score right by offing the jock scum-fucks responsible. Once the power elite of the school is gone a new anarchy begins to reign leading to more violence and bloodshed. This movie would NEVER be made in today’s environment of school safety and crying parents. In fact you’d be damn lucky to find this at all anymore! (B-)

MAYA – LTBX – Honestly I have yet to watch this, but it looks really good! (A-)

MEAT CLEVER MASSACRE (1977) - Sort of THE OMEN meets a slasher film by way of DEATH WISH. A student mocks the lecture of one of his professors causing the doc to humiliate the little fuck in front of the whole College. So he uses his supernatural voodoo to put the whammy on the teacher thus setting in motion a whole chain of gory murders. Pretty wacky, with a cameo by the then whoring himself Christopher Lee. (B)

MEN BEHIND THE SUN - SUBTITLED & UPGRADED! CHINA- Sick, no revolting, retelling of Manchu Squadron 731’s experiments on the Chinese during WW2. Once again for the most hardened of tastes only. (A+)

*MICROWAVE MASSACRE (1981) - Horror comedy about a dude who accidentally kills his wife. He stuffs her chopped up corpse in the freezer for safe keeping. One night he sleepily plunders the freezer for a snack and eats her flesh! From then on he is hooked! (B)

*MR. FROST – ITALY- Jeff Goldblume stars as old scratch himself, or is he? Very effective take on the Satan mythos, setting it all within a very realistic meillue of an insane asylum. One of those lost movies that everyone should see. (A)

MONSTER HUNTER – AKA ABSURD AKA ANTROPAGHAGUS 2, UNCUT ITALY– Joe D’Amata’s gore-tastic sequel to the splatter filled original. Behemoth George Eastman once again stars as the monster. This time out he escapes from a hospital to go on a bloody rampage. Most horrifying is the woman with mega hairy armpits, Yechhhh! I do have my limits! Plus hot as hell Annie Bell is in it! (B+)

MY LOVELY BURNT BROTHER AND SQUASHED BRAIN – SUBTITLED, ITALY – Okay this movie sucks, and the producer even comes on screen and says so. Why this has remained a cult item in the underground is beyond me. But it’s here for all you masochists out there. (D)

MY SOUL IS SLASHED – SUBTITLED, LTBX, JAPAN – Incredible Japanese rethinking of Vampire legends, pitting the bloodsuckers within a crumbling family unit. From the creators of the equally amazing THE LAST FRANKENSTEIN. (B-)

NAKED MASSACRE - Trashy flick loosely based on the Richard Speck Murders. (B+)

NERO – SUBTITLED, LTBX, ITALY – Pretty insane and great GIALLO from the creators of the DYLAN DOG comic (also responsible for DELLAMORTE/DELLAMORE’s source material). Most notable for the intense atmosphere and incredible camerawork comparable to Argento. (B)

NIGHT ANGEL – Unique splatter film on the Lillith myth (you know Adam's first and more evil wife in the Garden of Eden). Mucho skin and bloodshed about, as well as a pretty good story to boot. Loads of funs. (A)

*NIGHT OF THE STRANGLER (1975) - Mickey Dolenz (!) stars in the racial hate movie about a black dude who is killed for being with Dolenz honkey sister. The dude's brother (a priest) comes to town to exact revenge but someone else is wondering around slaughtering the (deserving) locals. A lost cult classic! Did I mention it stars Mickey FUCKING DOLENZ! (B+)

NIGHT OF THE ZOMBIES – Joel Reed (Bloodsucking Freaks) tried his hand at a zombie flick and came up with this rather dull entry. Featuring Jamie Gillis. (B+)

NIGHT AFTER NIGHT – Another classic Giallo that I haven’t watched yet! (A-)

*THE NIGHT PORTER – LTBX, UNCUT GREAT BRITAIN– Sick fucking relationship drama about a Jewish woman who had a sadomasochistic relationship with a guard in the WW2 prison camp. Jump ahead twenty years and they both are part of integrated society and meet again. They hide in a hotel room and relive their past together. No gore but more psychological violence than most can stand. Brilliantly made, and disgusting as hell. Gotta 21 to order! (A+)

*NOCTURNA: GRANDDAUGHTER OF DRACULA - Disco Era vampire flick is an absolute scream! A total acid flashback to the late seventies leisure suits and bad dancing, with all the Vampire action SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER was missing! (B-)

*NOSTRIL PICKER – British bad taste gore movie about a booger picken spaz who finds a way to turn into a girl at will. So he enrolls in high school to ogle the nubile flesh. But the spell starts driving him batty causing him to kill, kill, kill! (B)

*THE OCCULTIST - Very weird eighties horror film, sold as a comedy but deals in Satanism and witchcraft. (A-)

*PAGANINI HORROR - Luigi Cozzi's take on the murderous antics of the famous nutso composer. Gory and fun! (B+)

*PEEPING TOM (1997)- SUBTITLED, LTBX - Lean, mean, nasty Category three sex thriller about a tasty little wildcat of a woman who gets kidnapped by a lust driven peeping tom. The rest of the movie is his torture of her and her attempts to outwit him. No social commentary here, just a parade of misogynistic brutality that you have come to expect from Cat 3 movies. Good stuff! (B+)

*PIGS – Another of those wonderful 70’s rural drive in horror flicks. Pretty gory and actually a lot of fun. Crazy old fart kills someone and feeds him to his pigs. Soon a lovely young lady with a castration complex takes up board at his café and is slaughtering all comers, and feeding them to the pigs. Theses are some well-fed pigs let me tell you. PLAYGIRL KILLER – Late 60’s exploitation sleaze starring the lead guy from COLOR ME BLOOD RED in a very similar roll. Here he is an insane artist who kills "rude" women who wont stand still for him to paint! Has some great nightmare images that are so good they feel like their from another movie! (A)

POSSESSED - SUBTITLED - Ultra weird Hong Kong possession flick. Doesn't spare the sauce either. (B)

POSSESSED 2 -SUBTITLED Sequel to the splatterriffic Hong Kong flick. (B)

*PSYCHO FROM TEXAS - Aren't most of 'em! He's not an oil baron either! Very gritty seventies drive in psychodrama about a hitman set to off a rich dude, but becomes smitten with his soon to be married daughter. This leads to much killing and double crosses! Good gritty stuff with the unmistakable nastiness only 70's drive in fair offered. (B)

*THE PSYCHOPATH – A kid show host snaps and starts going after parents that abuse their kids. Roundly praised for the powerful lead performance. (B)

RAPE!- LTBX, SUBTITLED- Yet another Japanese rough sex, horror classic from the director of ASSAULT JACK THE RIPPER. This one tells the lurid tale of a woman who gets raped and because of the trauma ends up seeking out ever escalating levels of violent sex in her life. A fucking ugly, but fascinating portrait of madness. (B)

*THE RAPE AFTER – SUBTITLED CHINA – SICK SICK SICK! Ghost of a past abortion haunts a Chinese community causing all kinds of disgusting happenings. From the director of the equally grotesque BLACK MAGIC films. Did I mention how sick this movie is? (B-)

*RAPED BY AN ANGEL – UNCUT, SUBTITLED & LTBX HONG KONG– Follow up to the ecstatic NAKED KILLER with primarily the same cast, but with a new rape/revenge plot. This is one repellent movie. Print is missing some footage during the rape scene, but I have never seen a copy that wasn't. You have to be 21 to order! (A+)

*THE REDEEMER –AKA CLASS REUNION MASSACRE, SON OF SATAN - Really fun little regional horror film about a man who is visited by the REDEEMER, a spirit of a little demon boy with an extra finger that makes the man go about taking revenge on those who wronged him as a child. (B)

*THE REFLECTING SKIN – Big budget, studio backed British film is a twisted slice of rural life. Told from the point of view of a child who realizes that life is fucked up and can make your crazy. With exploding frogs, Child-molesting Street gangs, mummified dead babies and the radiation scarred reflecting skin of the title. This is a haunting and debilitating film. (A+)

RESURRECTION OF MICHAEL MYERS PT2– NO ENGLISH – Outstanding fan produced, Dutch splatterfest that has all the popular killers trying to off one another! In many ways far better than any of the official sequels to these flicks! Only 45 Minutes long so the tape has some extra stuff to fill it out like Peter Jackson behind the scenes on Meet The Feebles. (C)

*RITUAL OF DEATH – South American splatter that matters. A really gory tale of an acting troupe that runs afoul of a ring of Devil Worshipers! Directed by non cult director Fauzi Mansuer who also directed the equally splatterful SATANIC ATTRACTION. (B+)

*SATANIC ATTRACTION – Fauzi Mansuer’s ultra gory follow up to his RITUAL OF DEATH. A cult murderer is slashing and hacking to get body parts for a blood ceremony. A radio show keeps count. You’ll be grossed out. (A-)

SAVAGE WEEKEND (1976) - Truly twisted little sickie has our favorite backwoods psycho William "Newhart" Sanderson roaming the woods with a chainsaw! Two couples (the women are quite attractive I might add, and willing to shed their clothes at the drop of a hat!) and their gay buddy shack up in the woods to help Sanderson finish building the family boat(?!) Someone starts carving them up one by one while everyone tries to fuck each other. A sick highlight has the brutish (but irresistible?) farmhand trying to seduce the main character's wife by milking a cow! "Ever tasted if fresh?" A whole sequence has a lovely lass running around in very sexy lingerie only to get tied to a table top Buzzsaw (tied with barbed wire no less!). This movie is sick! See it! Plus the Gay Guy is a karate expert! Now top that! (B)

*SEEDING OF A GHOST – LTBX SUBTITLED, UNCUT, CHINA – Possibly the sickest of all the Hong Kong Black Magic films. I can’t even begin to go into all the madness in this film. Its wall to wall, balls out splatter insanity. (A+)

SEIZURE – Oliver Stones debut feature film with Martine Beswick, and Herve Villecheze. Surreal, plastic realities horror. (B+)

THE SEVENTH CURSE – SUBTITLED, UNCUT, CHINA – Uniquely twisted horror/Kung Fu hybrid, with teens fighting ghosts corpse and assorted monsters. From the director of A CHINESE GHOST STORY; also features a small roll by CHOW YUN FAT! (B-)

SKIN STRIPPERESS - LTBX, SUBTITLED - Totally insane Hong Kong horror about an actress who accidentally gets her face charred off, so she sets about skinning some young sluts to get her pretty skin back! (B)

*SLEEPLESS – LTBX – Uncut, letterboxed version of Dario Argento’s 2001 giallo. Very well done and atmospheric with gobs of intense gore. (B)

*THE SNAKE QUEEN – Wild Indonesian action/horror about the south seas snake queen and how she seduces men to their graves. Wildly creative with tons of monsters, nudity and a guy eating a meal that turns into his dead child’s remains! Great stuff! See it! (B+)

*THE SORCERERS -GREAT BRITAIN – Much sought after second film from Michael Reeves the late director of THE WITCHFINDER GENERAL AKA THE CONQUORER WORM. Stars Boris Karloff in one of his best rolls of the sixties (next to TARGETS), as an elderly sorcerer in inner city Britain. (A)

*THE SPIDER LABYRINTH – SUBTITLED, LTBX, ITALY – Amazing horror movie about a secluded spider worshipping cult and the poor anthropologist who stumbles on them. Some great effects by Sergio Stivaletti, and great atmosphere to boot. A truly good movie. (B)

*STANLEY - 70's killer snake from trash master William Gefe' (DEATH CURSE OF TARTU) is a real hoot! (B+)

*SUGAR HILL (AND HER ZOMBIE HIT MEN) – Another classic fright fest from the black is beautiful seventies. Voodoo mama goes for the revenge waltz with her zombie minons kicking whitey’s ass from here to Mississippi! (A)

TOWER OF SCREAMING VIRGINS – Oh yeah, you know you want it Crazy Euro trash with lots of nekkid babes and wanton violence. (B-)

*THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN- LTBX – Seminal regional horror quickie about the psycho of Texarkana in the 50’s. Surprisingly graphic and realistic portrayal of a town gripped by fear. (A)

*TOUCH OF SATAN – Another Texas quickie about a witch on a farm and the drifter who falls for her. Some effective gore, and plenty of atmosphere. (B+)

TRICK OR TREATS (1982) - Most remembered for its continual running on the USA network usually as part of COMMANDER USA’s GROOVY MOVIES, this low rent slasher film is considered to be among the WORST ever made. And you know what? It IS! Some obnoxious little kid is being babysat while a killer stalks the neighborhood, while the viewer waits patiently for the kid to get bumped off and relieve us of our misery! Do you really want to see this? Of course you do! (B+)

*TROUBLE EVERY DAY (2002) - LTBX - Really oddball drama about cannibalism as a metaphor for sexual lust. With some really disturbing scenes of a man being eaten alive during sex and a woman having her vagina chewed out. Stars Vincent Gallo and Beatrice Dalle. An arty, depression piece, not unlike Cronenberg's CRASH. (A-)

*THE ULTIMATE HARDGORE SPLATTER TAPE- Home made (By me actually), but professionally edited compilation tape of the hardest gore scenes cut to the hardest industrial rock and roll. You get clips from MAKE THEM DIE SLOWLY, NIGHTMARE, EYES OF FIRE, ILSA TIGRESS OF SIBERIA, LADY TERMINATOR, CRASH, STORY OF RIKKI and a whole shitload of others. With music from THE MISFITS, MINISTRY, TOOL, FAITH NO MORE, CONTROLLED BLEEDING, CHRIST ANALOGUE, PIG and a whole bunch of others great stuff. A GREAT party tape! (B+)

THE UNDERGROUND BANKER – SUBTITLED, UNCUT, HONG KONG – Silly, yet violent spoof on the Category 3 films of Hong Kong. With Anthony "I’ll do anything" Wong as a man in deep to the Triads. He enlists his neighbor, the recently rehabilitated Dr. lamb, to help him fight the thugs after the have raped and murdered his wife and burned his child to a crisp. Believe it or not, played for laughs. (B+)

UNDERGROUND TERROR – Rather lame movie about a gang of Homeless people murdering people in New York. The story has potential though. (B-)

UNMASKED PART 25 – Silly horror spoof about a lonely masked deformed killer who falls for a sexy blind S+M freak. Much sex and gore and very pointed, if immature, satire. (B+)

*UNTOLD STORY - LTBX, SUBTITLED, UNCUT - Anthony Wong won awards as the cannibal psycho in this infamous Hong Kong Category 3 nasty! (A)

*UNTOLD STORY 2 - LTBX, SUBTITLED - Anthony Wong returns, but this time as a cop sniffing out a female killer who may be cooking up her competition at the local rib joint! Not as gruesome as the first one, but then, how could it be?! (A)

*VICIOUS – Very violent Australian potboiler about a bored yuppie teen who falls in with a vicious band of thugs. The force him along on their murder and theft spree that ends at his girlfriends family’s house. This is home invasion terror at the very best. (A)

*VIOLATED ANGELS - UPGRADE !!!!!!!! B/W SUBTITLED, LTBX, UNCUT, JAPAN – Another personal favorite. This films tells the unflinching story of the Richard Speck murders in an artistic and haunting Manner, without ever losing the "you are there" documentary feel. This is as harrowing and unforgettable as any film you’re likely to see. Click HERE for a review of this movie. (A-)

VIOLENT BLOODBATH – Pretty tame Gorge Grau Giallo styled who dunnit. (C+)

THE WIERDO – More Andy Milligan bloodshed. Everyone abuses a town retard until he starts killing the local, and making himself happy. He then falls in love with a girl of equal challenge, causing him plenty of moral dilemmas. Maybe Milligan’s best horror film, but what is that saying? (B+)

*WHITE OF THE EYE –LTBX Intense thriller from the late (and much missed) Donald Cammell about a serial killer in a small Arizona town. Many scenes are stylish as hell and will remind you of vintage Argento. The drowning scene where the killer forces the victim to watcher self die in a mirror is especially harrowing. An excellent and unfortunately forgotten film. (A)

WICKED WICKED - The only film shot in DUO-VISION. This split screen thriller is from TV broadcast and is now in the perfect WIDESCREEN DUO VISION!!!! (A)

*WITCHCRAFT VS. CURSE – SUBTITLED, CHINA – Twisted sex and sorcery tale with the usual elements. Long showers, bugs, pus and bloodshed. Pretty goofy, but pretty entertaining too! (B+)

THE WITCHING - Orson Wells leads a devil cult found of making bacon in big orgiastic heaps. (B+)
