*ABBY – Impossible to find blaxsploitation version of the EXORCIST. Warner Brothers sued this into oblivion, but I have it! Yeahhhhhh! With William "BLACULA" Marshal as the professor/preacher out to whack the voodoo from Carol Speed. (C)

ALABAMA'S GHOST - Truly inspired madness from the director of the classic GODMONSTER OF INDIAN FLATS. This blaxsploitation rarity has a racist ghost tormenting a black magician in the deep south. Words can not do justice to the crazy nature of this incredible movie! (B+)

*DARKTOWN STRUTTERS – The ULTIMATE blaxsploitation movie! A Colonel Sanders look a like is making clones of prominent black folks so they can replace the trouble makers and do his political bidding! The clan has rode into town on Christian motorbikes with multicolored frocks! This thing is nuts! By the genius who gave us MIAMI BLUES almost fifteen years later! A MUST SEE! (A)

THE DEVIL’S DAUGHTER – B/W SOUTH AMERICA– A real rarity! This is a short all black cast film from 1935 about voodoo and possession on a sugar cane plantation south of the border. Though it all turns out okay in the end, there is some very effective stuff, as well as some great cultural observations for the time. (A-)

*DR. BLACK AND MR. HYDE – Mr. Hyde takes no jive, if you get on his bad side you won’t be alive! Absolute classic blaxsploitation monster mash with good effects by Stan Winston. Bernie Casey is the doctor who turns into a monster WHITE MAN Mr. Hyde. Truly great stuff and one of my personal faves! (A)

*ENEMY TERRITORY – Low budget exploiter about a handyman trapped in a tenement building under siege by murderous gangs at war. Kind of a black version of ASSUALT ON PRECINCT 13 but much more violent. Ray Parker Jr. (you know he ain’t afraid no ghosts) stars. (A-)

HOT POTATO – Really bad Jim Kelly Filipino kung fu comedy. For the completists only. (C+)

LEROY AND SKILLET: DON'T HOLD YOUR LAUGH - The famous urban blue comedy stars of the seventies pack their four hundred pound girth (and that is each one of them folks!) into some snappy seventies duds (though this was shot in the eighties!) for some low brow stand up comedy! For fans of DOLEMITE and the ilk. Some of the comedy is really pretty funny and on target. (A-)

MANDINGA - Ultra trashy Italian rip off of the already ultra trashy Hollywood slave trade, exploitation, mixed combo, anti-classic. Just as tawdry and filled with Interracial sex, and general meanspiritness. You'll love it! (B)

*MR. T TOUGHEST MAN IN THE WORLD (1984) - Another made for TV drama about how Mr. T tries to befriend some put upon kids all the while trying to promote his boxing career. Pretty freaking lame, but it is here for the MR. T completists in all of us! (A-)

POOR PRETTY EDDIE (1975) - Really twisted whitesploitation about a black torch singer who ends up broken down in the deep, deep, deep south while on a trip. She becomes the prisoner/love slave of the local Elvis impersonator and his sadistic lover played by Shelly Winters! Naturally she is sexually abused at every turn. This is sick, savage and a total deuce favorite! (B)

*SOUL VENGEANCE – Here it is the one the only giant killer penis movie! That’s right a righteously pissed off brother makes his dick grow to amazing lengths and kill! (A-)

*SUGAR HILL (AND HER ZOMBIE HIT MEN) – Another classic fright fest from the black is beautiful seventies. Voodoo mama goes for the revenge waltz with her zombie minions kicking whitey’s ass from here to Mississippi! (A)

TONGUE (1978) XXX - Now here is a freaking weird one! A blaxsploitation XXX drama about a black retard who happens to have an extra long tongue, so all the women chase him down to have him service their needs. Instead of being a sexual dynamo, he is a depressed mess who sit sin his dark room and talks to his pet frog! Its arthouse cinema, meets grindhouse trash and outhouse fucking for something totally unique! Yeah you gotta be 21 to order this, even if it does make sex look depressing as hell! (C)
